It was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. Hawa Mahal is known as the Palace of Winds. Hawa Mahal palace was primarily made for the royal ladies so that they could enjoy the everyday lives and celebrations of the festival through the windows without being seen as they weren’t allowed to go out in public.
Amber Fort is also known as Amer Fort. It was built by Maharaja Man Singh I in 1592. Amer Fort is made up of pink and yellow sandstones, which reveal the royal elegance of Rajasthan. This fort is a part of a vast complex that overlooks Maotha Lake. Over here you can see the private quarters of the king and his associates such as royal courtyards, and the beautiful Sheesh Mahal etc.
Jal Mahal was built in the 18th century. It is situated amid Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur. It is a great example of the Rajput and Mughal styles of architecture. The reflection of the palace in the Man Sagar Lake gives an illusion of multi-storey standing over the water level. Here you can capture the palace reflection on Man Sagar Lake, serving as the perfect object for photography.
City Palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in the 18th century in 1732. City Palace is situated right in the middle of Old Jaipur which covers one-seventh of that area. The entire palace has small palaces, well-maintained gardens, beautifully carved courtyards, open terraces and more. Here you can admire the royal family treasures, gates depicting a season and Hindu gods, the world's largest sterling silver vessels and many more.
It was built in 1734 by Maharaja Jai Singh II. The entire observatory extends to a land stretch of 18700 meters. Jantar Mantar is a collection of both astronomical and architectural instruments. You find around 19 major geometrical devices here. Each one of them has its specific application. Some of the instruments available here are amongst the largest in their own species.
